Font Bitmapper is a utility designed to convert fonts into a matrix of bitmap characters.  Fonts are usually required in this format for games, demos, web counters and similar applications.  Using bitmapped fonts in programs has its advantages.  It is often faster in terms of CPU speed, you don't need any special libraries to use, and there are no hassles of font copyrights.  Also, with a few simple effects from your favourite graphics program you can enhance the produced bitmapped fonts with colours, textures, shadows and other effects.

It is a very tedious and time-consuming job to try to align all characters manually using a normal graphics program.  With Font Bitmapper you will be able to get the required results in just a few minutes.  And, should you need to do any changes at a later stage you will not have to start all over again.  For example, adding and deleting characters, or changing the font will only require simple interventions and you will be able to generate the new output immediately.

Apart from all the standard functions required to carry out the font conversion, Font Bitmapper also includes a neat feature that helps you keep organised where it comes to font sites on the web.  A number of hyperlinks to font-related web sites (categorised as Commercial, Free and Font Search Engines) are already available in a drop-down menu.  This list can be updated online with a click of a button.  The sites below are currently included:
